Marimecs Sponsors Practical Week for Maritime Students
First-year Maritime Engineering students from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences participated in an invaluable practical week at the Maritime Institute Willem Barentsz on the island of Terschelling. This hands-on experience provided students with the opportunity to develop essential skills for their future careers in the maritime industry.
Future talents
Throughout the week, the students were immersed in practical training, including sessions in workshops, simulators, and other state-of-the-art facilities. These activities are designed to give them a strong foundation in the technical aspects of maritime engineering, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of their future professions.
At Marimecs, we are committed to supporting the next generation of maritime professionals. As part of this commitment, we proudly sponsored the students’ overalls and safety shoes, ensuring they could safely and comfortably engage in all activities during the week.
This practical training is an essential part of their education, helping to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. We are honored to contribute to this important phase of their development and look forward to seeing their future contributions to the maritime sector.
